StartSomeGood is a finalist for Best Startup for Social Good at the Australasian Startup Awards
To our surprise and delight StartSomeGood was recently announced as a finalist for the Best Startup for Social Good Award at the Australasian Startup Awards. This is a huge credit to the hard work of our team which as led to the highest project success rate in cause crowdfunding and a suite of innovative partnership such as Dreamstarter with ING, the Social Enterprise Design Challenge with the English Family Foundation and Pitch for Good events in Parramatta, Melbourne and Adelaide in partnership with the respective city governments.
Win or lose, we’re thrilled to be a finalist. That said, it would be wonderful to win, as it would allow us to fly the flag for social business at StartCon, Australia’s biggest startup conference. And you can help us get there! The Awards are a popular vote.
Voting only takes ten seconds (depending on if you want to vote for any other categories) so please, head over there and vote for us now!
I was so inspired by this opportunity I even recorded my first-ever video for LinkedIN at the urging of the team:
So again, please vote for StartSomeGood in the Best Startup for Social Good category to help propel our mission of getting innovative social impact projects funded and launched!
And if you have one of those projects and need to raise funds, we’d love to help.
