2022 Savvy Global Fellowship

This virtual Fellowship program is perfect for passionate and brilliant young professionals seeking to be a part of the new generation of impact entrepreneurs!

There is no application deadline, no ethnic restrictions and no cohort. Applications will be accepted all year-round as it is a rolling program, anyone ranging from the age of 18–40 can apply!

This program will go on for 12 weeks consisting of e-learning and assessments. Learn to start, build and scale an impact venture. Additionally, get the questions you need to be answered to start your impact venture. Savvy is a great opportunity for every impact entrepreneur no matter the stage your venture is currently in.

Finance Training for Not for Profit Organisations

Need help with finance for your non profit? Join this tailored finance training for non-profit organisations which will be delivered online or onsite. This course will help break it down for you and show you that it is not difficult to read and understand financial reports as you think it is. Equip your knowledge to make better informed decisions around finances through this program! This program is best for Board members, Treasurers and Managers from non-profit organisations.

This finance training will be delivered in the following ways:

  • Face-to-face (7 hours)
  • Online with all your board members and management team linked in via a Zoom meeting (5.5 hours)

The Social Enterprise World Forum 2022 will be hosted at Brisbane, Australia thanks to their Co-host White Box Enterprises. The Creative Power Award is a small grants programme designed to support emerging creators that are working at the intersection of art and social justice. They are offering grants of up to $2000 USD. This is a great opportunity for emerging creators that are located in Australia and the US.

WIN WIN Gothenburg Sustainability Award 2022

This year's theme for the WIN WIN Gothenburg Sustainability Award is Sustainable Aquaculture.

Nominate a person or an organisation that has an aquaculture initiative that can contribute to increased efficiency and sustainability and also towards one or more of the UN’s global goals. If you know someone that inspires others nominate them today for the WIN WIN Gothenburg Sustainability Award 2022.

Some examples of areas that the jury of the award envisions potential winners are Innovative seafood products and more sustainable animal feed and farming methods.

Queensland Community Foundation Organisational Capacity Building Grants 2022

The QCF Organisational Capacity Building Grants is designed to assist charities to develop their structures, systems, people, and skills to deliver improved outcomes to their community. If you are an organisation based in Queensland, this is a great opportunity for you!

The General Fund 2022 grant will concentrate on organisational capacity building of mid-tier organisations that are building community resilience.

Who can apply?

  • Organisations that are Queensland based, providing a service to local communities.
  • Endorsed by the Australian Tax Office as Item 1 Deductible Gift Recipients (DGRs).
  • Mid-tier (annual revenue up to a maximum of $10M).

Kerryn teaches social enterprise at GIBS and writes regularly on the topic.
